Will I lose my rights if I make a Power of Attorney?

No. As long as you have capacity to make your own legal and financial decisions, you will still have the authority to deal with your own property and money.

You will also have the power to revoke your attorney’s appointment, if you lose faith in them, so long as you have capacity.

The person you appoint can only act in accordance with the authority you have given them—and only while you have not revoked that power.

Still in control. Always your choice. Rayners Lawyers can help you understand your rights at every step along your legal journey.
