Another blow-in from the sprawling metropolis of Sydney, Ed joined us just as he approached the end his degree, which he thinks has taken about 13 years. We don’t think it’s that long, but he’s proved that it’s possible to work full time and study full time. Maybe he never actually sleeps... we don't really know. But what we do know is that he is a well-rounded paralegal, soon-to-be lawyer, having worked in several different practice areas, but we’re glad he’s landed here at Rayners.
He has admitted to being in a perpetual state of anxiety. We think it could be the triple-shot espressos consumed on a bi-daily basis, but he just puts this down to being a Sydney Swans supporter. Of course, he balances all this out by being an avid runner. He believes it’s not only good for the mind, and fitness, but also allows him to sit in his chair for extended periods of time without numbness or fatigue whilst attending to your estate planning needs … because drafting estate plans all day is not for the faint-hearted.
Ed has spent quite some time in the music industry before law, which is always a good thing because people with other life experiences can often bring something new to the table. But like his lawyer father and uncle, it was inevitable that he too would become a lawyer, despite valiantly resisting it for as long as he could. The music industry is still in a state of deep mourning.
